Cardiff Baptist College

Here at Cardiff Baptist College, our mission is to equip the church of Christ. That means you! So, whether you are a woman or man who senses a call to ministry or mission, or a church leader who needs some training, or a minister on sabbatical, or someone undergoing the Forge training who needs a book to read – we want to help.

We have a portfolio of courses and resources. Our Pathways course runs once a month and is for training and equipping church leaders in a range of skills from the more traditional, such as studying the Bible, to the more pioneering, such as looking at ways of encouraging discipleship in an informal church setting or online. For those training for ministry we liaise with BUW to provide appropriate formation and theology courses, usually accredited by Cardiff University.

Most of our students are part-time which means that they only come to Cardiff once a month. And we are in the process of acquiring many new e-books, and opening up our library to facilitate access by students, ministers and church members across Wales and beyond.

We pride ourselves on being a supportive community. One of our students said recently that he had been to several colleges but ours was the first one where he felt part of a family. So, be assured that a warm welcome awaits you if you want to join the CBC family.
