Ways to support Ukraine

Ukraine urgently needs our prayers. As well as this there are an increasing number of ways to support by giving, which you may want to draw to the attention of your church:
1. BMS are running an appeal linked to the Ukrainian Baptist church as well as those seeking refuge in neighbouring countries: BMS Ukraine appeal – BMS World Mission
2. A large number of aid charities in the UK (including Christian Aid and Tearfund) are running an umbrella appeal under the DEC appeal: Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal | Disasters Emergency Committee (dec.org.uk)

Igor Bandura, the Vice President of the All-Ukrainian Union of Associations of Evangelical Christians-Baptists, asked us to pass this on to all members to be shown during the Sunday morning worship services, if desired: To all Christians abroad from Ukrainian Church. To your church while you are gathering this Sunday – YouTube

And BMS are also continuing to update this page with information from Ukrainian churches and prayer points: Pray for Ukraine – BMS World Mission

Let us continue to pray for all the citizens of Ukraine. We pray for wisdom and courage to create peace and ensure justice. Lord, hear our prayer! ‘Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more’ Isaiah 2:4.
