Christian Presence on the Maes

Although the summer is traditionally a quiet time for many of our churches, August also means the Eisteddfod! The Baptist Union of Wales will be represented by Cytûn this year (alongside other denominations and church groups in Wales)…

If you would like a cuppa, and an opportunity to engage with Welsh-language Christian content over the summer – in addition to welshcakes! – you would be more than welcome to head over and join the Cytûn crew! The Eisteddfod will run from the 3rd – 10th of August, on the main site at Ynysangharad Park in Pontyrpidd.

Cytûn will have a stall on the main ‘maes’ (site), but the majority of the activities, refreshments and more will take place at St Catherine’s Church, 5 minutes from the maes.

For more information, take a look at the banner below, and head over to the Cytûn Facebook page which will have updates, as well as daily timetables. You can also head over to the Church in Wales website, where a full timetable and more information is also available.
